Awesome Pawesome!

Honoured Madams and Sirs,
We have decided to continue this weblog in the form of a bulleted list in order to save time and encourage you guys to read it in an organised fashion. Ho hum.

  • Sunway Lagoon: Sunway lagoon is a big waterpark/themepark thing. Took us about 15 mins to get there (driven by Tort's grandfather, who decided to go about 10mph on the freeway...anyway, I digress), and when we got there we were greeted by a blazing sun and lots of tourists. Just how I like it :D We first went to the 'Adventure Park', the most lolworthy incident being when we went on what we thought was an ordinary galleon, and got a pleasant surprise when it seemed to be going a little too high. It turns out that it actually went 360 degrees *barf*. The guy opposite me seemed to be enjoying himself anyway, he just grinned the whole way round. When we went to the water park, we met two lovely Egyptian girls called Aliaa and Ola who were with their little brother Mohammed. Facebooked! A fun day was had by all.

  • And then we went for a vegetarian meal. Woop woop. Was tasty, but veggie prawns don't taste like prawn. Tut tut.
  • Garden Party: So, you go to a reunion and meet some random friend. What do you do? Invite her whole family to your niece's 20th birthday party.. totally justified. It turned out to be these marquees set up in the (richhh) girl's house's drive (she had lots of rich friends too with chanel bags and the like) and these professional caterers doing all sorts of malaysian food and stuff, so was nice :D We were seated on the table with 'the younger generation' of people at the party, hahaha.., which were just 3 people called Debbie, Aaron &Tom (D & A were siblings). Facebooked D & A during the next few days and should be going to night market with them next Monday; 2 attempts to go to the night markets have so far failed.
  • Kuala Lumpur: No, Jordan, it is not a person - it's the capital city of Malaysia! We got off the train in a big shopping centre full of rich people, tourists and designer shops that scared the pants off us. Even more impressive though was what we saw when we got outside...

[yeah whatever, I cba turning it round. Deal!] The Petronas twin towers, the tallest buildings in the world. We think. Blooming impressive anyway! Then we got a taxi to Chinatown, where I was a bit scared cos people kept following us around...I should really be used to that by now though. Lots of funny smells, not only from Tort... hahahahahaa. I'm hil. Yeah, then we went to Central Market, which is really cool... some of you guys will have pressies from there :) and then due to my thirst for cultural knowledge, I told Tort that I wanted to walk all the way to the National Mosque on the other side of the river. Which we couldn't go into... but it was cool to see it anyway. I like KL!

  • Ice skating: Sunway Lagoon (aformentioned) has a huuuuge shopping centre right next to it, Egyptian themed, so Lizzie had 'a bit of a nerd' about it as she so put it, lolz. Not only that, it has a decent sized ice rink on the Lower ground 2 floor, so of course we went a-skating. Lots of semi-professionals &gay ice hockey players who are up themselves as per usual, but it was fun! had like nearly 2 hours skating before Lizzie wasn't feeling too well :( so we went home after that.

  • Fatty Crab: This was tonight's dining place of choice.. and our favourite meal to date! Lots of crab (had to use mini hammers and like nut crackers to break it open), chicken, prawns, steamed fish, mostly seafood stuffs :) yum yummm!

In other news, both of us have had a haircut :) Although as usual I (Lizzie) paid about 5 times as much as Tort - roflmao. Additionally, we are having another buffet tomorrow!

Sweet dude.

P.S. Who watched Gossip Girl finale? Drama drama drama! At least I can now have Dan. Yayyyyy!

We also have a lot of the crew's presents, and Jen has a few toooo XD

love you guyssss xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

He's so handsome!

Hellooo everyone! Haven't blogged for a while cos we've been away/quite busy, so I'll get right into it and tell you all :D

We traveled up to Taiping (where my mum was born) cos she was attending a school reunion, first time they'd had one for 37 years! weird hahah. So we had like a tour round her school then her and dad went for the buffet thing they had planned as well, and the rest of us went for maccies. I've been put off maccies for a looong time, since I was nearly sick at the amount of grease that oozed out of my burger... *bork* it was so disgusting.
But aside from that horrible espisode of burger-ness, there was a Hindu parade thing going on, it was interesting. After that, we went to 'The Store',. was actually called that yeah :p and bought......

LEVI'S!!!! for 36 quid each :D :D
and they're genuine! amazing much.
also bought 2 tops each, Diesellll :]

Came back from Taiping on Sunday, and yesterday we went to The Curve, this sort of outlet village like Cheshire Oaks sorta but not :p
We (Lizzie and I) went to see Wanted, Justin went to see Hancock. Wanted was gooood! Then went for a brief walk around the shops in the rest of the shopping centre.. we found Justin a boyfriend :p
Well, not really. He was a transvestite working in a girls clothes shop, who thought Justin was 'very handsome', we lolled all the way home, seriously. Justin doesn't even wanna go shopping with us tomorrow in case we go near the shop again, so we'll take the guy a picture and a lock of his hair instead, rofls.

Today moved into the apartment and went for a swim:

wooo. Can't eat there though, so we're back here for dinner and stuffs :D

Mum's gone to this Bible reading session at some mansion owned by some relatives, we jibbed of course; we're going to see the house later though!

I know its rather a ginormous entry from me, soz, but i'm interesting so you'll have read it all :)

Más del mismo

Hey duderinos

Sitting in front of the TV with Amma (Tort's grandma) talking incredibly loudly in Hokkien next to me. It's interesting how little you hear English here. I've just watched Gladiator though - always brings a tear to my eye :/

We went shopping again yesterday. Bought more tops for £2 and £3 [mostly from the bargain bins] and Tort bought similar stuff. We love 1 Utama! It's amazing...

...as you can see. Yessssssssssss!

The best thing though was the cinema yesterday. Uncle Peik Wan has "connections" (we're both secretly sure that he's in the Mafia or something... was that a Rolex?!?) so we got into 2 films free. We were told to get there at 8pm so we shopped until then and met him. Watched Hellboy II for like 1 hr 20 mins (...no comment) and then he came to take us to the other screen to watch The Dark Knight (i.e. new Batman film). It's amazing!!!!!! Seriously, I was so impressed by everyone, and I've never seen more chiselled features than Christian Bale's! By far the best performance goes to Heath Ledger though. We all agree that it's going to be very difficult to top. It makes it even sadder that he's gone - it was the most believable performance of his whole career. The reports that he locked himself away and didn't talk to anyone for 2 months is a bit scary, and he actually seems truly insane in the film... anyway, RIP Heath.

And go see that movie!!!!!!!!!!!!

Today, we're going to Tai Ping, where Bee Lai was born. Maria's cousin Onn says that there's nothing there, so I'm taking a long book! Thankfully, I also remembered to bring Caesar 3 <3<3

Right, I'll shut up. Miss you guys!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Love

P.S. Anne, I would like that grey top, it's fit! Although I'm gonna have to empty out my clothes... I'll have too many in my suitcase to bring home at this rate!

What you gonna do with all that junk inside your trunk?

Halloooo :)

We have had a very successful day.. spent the whole day shopping pretty much, we were gonna go swimming at our apartment (my mum and dad bought it last year) but the weather was crap and like rainy/humid so we stayed in the huuuuge shopping mall call 1 Utama for like, hours and bought lots of sexy stuff :D

And all this came to a total of..... £41. 2 dresses, a cardi, a skirt, 6 nail varnishes (5 mine), 5 pairs of foot socks, 2 corsages, & mickey mouse high tops came to just 41 quid. we love shopping here :D :D

Oh yeah and we saw Kung Fu Panda, which was amaazing :P i thought it was hilarious hahaha.

Gonna swim all day tomorrow probably then thursday more shoppingggggg! yah man.

Not much more to say really - yeah, Kung Fu Panda was surprisingly entertaining :) It's interesting being the only ginge in the.. country? too. You can buy ginger hair dye though. Shop assistants tend to be magnetised by it...
The two dresses came to only £13 together. I almost keeled over with joy.

Funny food photo of the day...
Miss you guys.

Lollers

Helloooooo!
We're here finally :D

Aside from being rather humid and the like, its all good. We woke up like 2 oclock this afternoon after like 10 hours sleep, hahaha. Slept a bit on the plane, but there were too many good films to watch and good food ;]
I watched Pocahantas, Lady & the Tramp and 21, with numerous interruptions from passenger announcements, arghhh.

We went for a bit of brief essential shopping and stuff, had some good food and its been a good first day!
Taken some hilarious photos of amazing brand and company names we hope you'll like :D

Helloooo everyone tis Lizzo here :)
(I hate this keyboard, every time I go to press enter I end up pressing\ cos its just above. Gah!!)
Yeah, we've had a good day although last night at about 4am I had to get up and turn the air con down cos I practically had icicles hanging off my face. I had
Indian and Chinese food for breakfast...well brunch at 2 haha... and have also had some home cooking - rice and fish. Mmmmmm this is what I came for!
We had a bit of a drama at the airport yesterday - no, the day before... we were 15kgs overweight for luggage, which would have cost over 700 pounds to bring here. We were meant to leave a bag of bedding behind, but Beelai decided that the best thing would be for us to carry it all through customs as hand luggage. We did just about get away with it, but it wa
sn't much fun :P
Byeeee (Lizzie) xxx
